Still preoccupied with digesting/recovering from last night's Seder. In the meantime, enjoy these links. And let me know if there's anything you particularly want to see here at Superpowers That Be.
-Comic Book Resources provides one of the many positive reviews being written about the Thor movie.
-Bleeding Cool has a new poster for X-Men: First Class.
-Comic Twart's old but stunning Silver Sable gallery, a personal favorite of mine. Lovely site.
-NY Times has a new interview with Joss Whedon. Mostly Doc Horrible related, but with some Firefly reminiscences and Avengers jokes.
-BigHollywood has a negative review of the new "absurdist horror" film Rubber, about a self-possessed tire rolling around killing people.
-Bloody Disgusting elaborates on deleted scenes from Scream 4 (that I noted in my review) as well as alternate endings/beginnings, and then goes on to give us some pictures of the upcoming Fright Night remake, written by Marti Noxon of Buffy fame and starring retired Doctor David Tennant.
-ComicVine has some pictures of the upcoming and much discussed Batman Live theater performance. Not something I can get behind, but I appreciate the Robin-centric storyline.
Currently excited for: New Doctor Who series starting Saturday!! Comic by Comic gives us a trailer.
Currently reading: The Language of Bees by Laurie R. King. If you're a Sherlock fan go find this series. Beautiful, thrilling, funny, and scholarly, I cannot stop devouring them. Almost up to date and already looking forward to upcoming The Pirate King (best title ever.)
Happy Passover.
