Friday's are wonderful already, but as an added bonus to break-up the final work day of the week, Comic Book Resources always posts previews of new Marvel comics being released next week.
And I shamelessly repost them. 'Cause they're pretty to look at and 7 days is surprisingly long to wait for my new comic fix. What can I say, I'm a superhero junkie.
Hit the jump for previews of: Wolverine & the X-Men #4, X-Men Legacy #260.1, X-Factor #230 and New Avengers #20.
Wolverine and the X-Men #4: Wolverine adjusts to life as a Professor and the staff meet to assess damage and welcome some new blood (expect Deathlok to show up soon.)
Not clear on who that chick in the middle is. |
X-Men Legacy #260.1: Christos Gage takes over writing duties from the already-missed Mike Carey with this point one. Rogue's team settles into the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning, and Rogue continues her raison d'etre by connecting to and tutoring the next generation.
Who knew Rogue had time to watch a fantastic HBO mini-series? |
Finally, someone forcing Rockslide to be better with his powers. |
X-Factor #230: Wolverine shows up at X-Factor Investigations (this time, in our present reality) to possible console Layla after Jamie's apparent death, and ostensibly introduce the team to Havok and Polaris, who may be their new leaders. Expect some fireworks (I'm looking at you, Monet.)
New Avengers #20: New vs. Dark. 'Nuff said. Well, except that I'm not totally clear on who all the Dark Avengers are. Also, it's possible Jessica Jones-Cage/Jewel/Power Woman finally makes some kind of life decision that sticks. But I'm not betting on it.
Have a great weekend everybody!
